This includes for instance in car vehicle diagnostics, repair shop equipment and repair via the Bosch repair shop network.

”We have found the ideal partner in Bosch. In addition to a repair shop concept for our e.GO cars, the future-relevant areas Connected Car and subsequent services are now covered“, says Prof. Günther Schuh. This means that the e.GO Life drivers, too, benefit from the possibilities resulting from connecting the car to the Internet.

“ Electric drive is becoming increasingly important. Still, in order for it to become a mainstream technology, not only charging infrastructure is required but also nationwide service. It's this nationwide service that we want to provide in future with our Bosch Car Service Network. ” - Dr. Markus Heyn, member of the Bosch board of management

”Electric drive is becoming increasingly important. Still, in order for it to become a mainstream technology, not only charging infrastructure is required but also nationwide service. It's this nationwide service that we want to provide in future with our Bosch Car Service Network. Bosch Car Services are already highly competent in hybrid and electric powertrains“, says Heyn.

With its division Automotive Aftermarket, Bosch is a leading global supplier of Automotive Service Solutions and operates with Bosch Car Service one of the world’s largest independent chains of repair-shops, with more than 17,000 franchises. Moreover, the division develops and markets connectivity (retrofitting) solutions, primarily for the needs of fleet customers.

Bosch and e.GO Mobile, which have been cooperating since the foundation of e.GO Mobile AG in 2015, see significant growth potential in the electric vehicle market. e.GO Mobile intends to internationally commercialize electric cars at an affordable price and place them on the same level as internal combustion engines. e.GO Mobile plans to deliver the first e.GO Life cars for the German market in summer 2017.
